About the Prints

All photographs are printed on ILFORD GALERIE GOLD FIBRE SILK, which has a baryta (barium sulphate) coated layer underneath the ink receiving layer equivalent to the structure of a traditional fibre photographic paper base. The media offers enhanced definition, extended tonal range, and excellent archival life. Coated fibre papers have a unique look and feel, which has become a standard among art photographers worldwide over the course of more than a century. The ink used is a pigment-based K3 Ultrachrome ink with exceptional quality and a print permanence characteristic rating of over 200 years for black and white under rigorous industry accepted display conditions. Framed prints are mounted under UV protected, non-glare plexiglass and framed in a smooth black hardwood frame.
